Review summary

Overall, this cruise was outstanding. We have been on a dozen or so cruises on various cruise lines. We visited some nice ports but only had a limited amount of time in each port. This was a challenge to be back on ship earlier than 6 pm because we chose early dining.

We really appreciate the extra efforts of our cabin steward who always allowed us privacy and observed our time away out of our cabin to clean and change linens.

We especially want to extend our appreciation of our dining service at dinner every evening. Our cruise satisfaction was mostly attributed to our outstanding dining experiences in Northern Lights. Please convey our thanks to Nyoman Trisna from Bali, Indonesia. He made us feel so special and we felt like royalty as he accommodated our every need and request. He was so pleasant and genuinely wanted to make this cruise a special memory. We were fortunate he was part of our evening dining team.

The highlight was our evening dinner experience. Our server, Nyoman Trisna from Bali, Indonesia was outstanding. He served our every request with enthusiasm and he enjoys working with Carnival. Please convey our thanks to Mr. Trisna for making this such a wonderful experience.

The service staff works so hard and they anticipated our every need. We never had to ask for anything. Very good in observing our routine and did not disrupt our in room privacy.

Cabin / Stateroom

We always chose either a balcony or ocean suite. Our suite was very spacious and we spent many hours on our large balcony. We had extra closets and drawers we did not use.
