Review summary
Could not argue with the price of the cruise but you get what you pay for. The ship was very nice and clean but designed to have the most people poss. so that one always felt crowded what ever you did. The crew was as good as we ever experienced. Over-all we will not go on another Carnival cruise.

Ship tip
Don't spend the money on the specialty resturants. No better than what you get in the regular fare.

6 cruises on CCL and impressed every time. My very worst cruise was still a blast, then again I'm pretty laid back, and not a high-maintenance person. I like value, adventure, and being well provided for; Carnival hits bulleyes on every mark. I've been told RCL is nicer and snootier (their words, not mine) but I'll wait until I'm older to find out. For now, I'm completely satisfied by what Carnival gives me.

We've sailed 24 times, 9 on Carnival and #25 will be on the Magic in May. For the price they can't be beat. All cruise lines are cutting back and all of the people praising RCI mustn't have been on one in a while. Also Carnival has some of the largest cabins, RCI will be about 30-40 feet smaller with a tiny shower. Disney is the best but we can go on 2 1/2 Carnival cruises for the price of 1 Disney. We like Princess but they need ports closer to us. We have found Norwegian very hit or miss.
