Room Type: Balcony

The cruise was very relaxing for us after a busy wedding planning month. We mainly relaxed and ate lots of food while we were onboard. Food was rather good for the lunch buffet, but i recommend the Tandoor indian food by the buffet. And do dine at the the nightly diner. It is a wonderful experience and you might meet some interesting people. I would cruise again but would try other ships and cruise lines.

Cabin / Stateroom
Nice cabin with lots of storage and enough room. Balcony was very cool and has 3 chairs and a small table. Always clean because the attendants clean in the later morning and while you are at dinner.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Either buy a Faster to the Fun and get to the Embarkation super early, and at ports super early. Or dont buy one and get to the embarkation really late and to the port really late. Either way, you will miss the long lines. Debarking was very slow. Took 5 hours. Sat on the ship 4 hours before our deck was called, then another hour in the line to go through customs.
Ship Quality
Nice large ship with plenty of space and rooms to see.
Destinations and Excursions
Here is my beef. Carnival cruise lines owns the ports that you dock at. So they have these building you must walk through at Cozumel and Roatan where they try to sell you alcohol, diamonds, and cigarettes. It is the dumbest thing i have ever seen. And when you get past that building they still own most of the shops at the port, not the locals. So my advice at Cozumel is to rent a car and drive to the other side of the island and buy gifts and enjoy the beach. We were also told that Belize is a third world country and is dangerous to go into. I don't buy it. Weird. They tried to shove excursions down your throat all day. It was unpleasant and at Belize and Roatan we hardly saw any of the island. It was like being in an airport on a layover, you never actually see the country. Bummer.
Onboard Activities
The only thing that was fun would have been the mini golf, and swimming. Other than that not many activities on board. But again we mainly went to relax.
Entertainment
We are a young twenties couple and we really did not see any entertainment that suited us. The comedy was alright and we hoped the bingo would be fun but it cost to play. Not cool. We mainly just hung out on the deck, walked around, and were lazy. Which was nice.
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
Evening dining was so much fun and the waiters are the same if you choose a dining time. Great food and you can order as much as you like. Meeting new people was fun. Do eat the SeaDay brunch. It is a wonderful meal. The Pizza bar is fantastic and the Tandoor indian food is to die for. Had it everyday.
Galveston, Texas
Cozumel, Mexico
Rent a car and drive the island. Worth it. Costs about $70 for a day.
Belize City, Belize
Terrible. Had to take a water taxi from the boat to the island. Took 30mins. Then we were not allowed to leave the port, only at our own risk. But I do advise a nice resort type excursion because there are some beautiful islands around there.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Do an excursion where you can go through the country, Because there is no other way to leave the port.
