Review summary

The food was poor both in the dining room and on the Lido deck. I've been on about 15 cruises and have only experienced bad food one other time. Bring some snacks or prepare to have to pay to get decent food in the restaurants that charge extra money.

Don't get late seating for dinner. We did late seating and missed many of the shows that were scheduled for the same time with no repeats. Do the anytime dining if you can.

The excursions were still great. We did snorkeling and speed boating in Cozumel and kayaking and ziplining in Jamaica. Both were excellent.

IDK. I think cause I spent a lot of time in the casino. the 1st 500 pts. I got $5 added to my bank,then when I reached 1,000, I got a other $5 and a Free drink. when I reached the 1,500 I was given a card to allow me a free bar drink every 15 min or a max of 15/day for the duration of cruise. When I reached 5,000 I was given a bottle of wine (my choice) and a free meal at the fine dining El Capitano and when I got to my room there was a platter of Giant cookies. At the end of cruise I had accumulated 8,000 pts. The morning of debarkcation, the letter was delivered to me. I was told it is just random cause i,didn't meet nor talk to any,staff in casino but i,did talk,to the machines alot and out loud.

just got off the Magic. Everything was wonderful especially the staff except for one every rude waiter named Vernon. rude . rude rude. However Savior was fantastic! the Lido breakfast was disgusting. EL CAPITANO was ny far the best. For being my 1st Carnival cruise I got homemade cookies as a gift in my room, a complimentary bottle of wine to bring home, a fine dining dinner on the house at El Capitano AND a letter awarding me with a FREE 8 day cruise for 2.What a deal. So blessed!
