Review summary

I have taken a cruise on the Carnival Magic once before and that experience was amazing. This second time on the cruise liner has left me wanting. The biggest way I could sum things up was that the attention to detail was no longer there. There are many things that add up to this thought and that includes:

- At the formal dinners our waiter was hard to find. Well not so much hard to find as hard to get his attention. It seems like he was way too over booked and there were instances where we got the wrong entree or needed something and he just wasn't reachable.

- Our room wasn't kept up some nights and we had a few instances where even if we called for something to be done, no one would show up. We didn't even meet our head until our third day into the cruise.

- We also received some snide remarks from the staff twice on the cruise. And we weren't even drinking at the time.

All in all, it just didn't meet up to the exceptions that my first cruise on the Magic had set.

The remote sucks soooo bad and they couldn't do anything about it. You need to be three feet from the tv to use the remote. The top bunk can only be raised and lowered by the steward. The room is very small.
