Review summary

This was a girls trip - 3 of us ladies over 55 - and we had a wonderful time!  The ship is beautiful, crew is ultra friendly and efficient, and ports were great.  We had excursions at all three ports, Key West, Freeport, and Nassau.  Carnival is one of our favorite cruise lines and we have never been disappointed.  The Magic is newer and the only possible negative would be that the tub sides are SO high that we all had trouble stepping over to get in.  Otherwise our stateroom was lovely and very spacious.  We had a grand suite, 7304, so no problem with having enough space.  There was never a dull moment as we enjoyed karaoke, trivia, and the excellent Broadway type shows. We will be cruising again next year, destination still to be determined, but we hope to go out of Galveston again since we all live in Houston .

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food could have been better - not as much variety in the dining room and actual preparation was not as tasty as some we have experienced. However, we certainly did not suffer for lack of places to eat since we took advantage of many other locations on-board.

We are going on the 18th. How did you dress for dinner? What is included as far as meals go- certain dining rooms? Trying to pack. First time with Carnival
