Review summary

EVERY SINGLE DAY WE WERE HUMILIATED AND BROUGHT TO SERVICE DESK BECAUSE SHIP WOULD CHARGE MY CARD TWICE AND BANK WOULD SHUT DOWN MY CARD THEY WERE CHARGING ME TWICE SAME TRANSACTION COULD NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME BECAUSE THEY DID THIS EVERY NIGHT AT OUR TABLE WITH OUR FRIENDS THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING SO AFTER SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL CALLS THE FOOD WAS AWFUL TOO WE HAVE TOOK SEVERAL CRUISES WITH CARNIVAL LOVED THEM ALL WASTED MY MONEY

Yes magic has the new Internet rates. Social (app) $5 per day, Value $16 per day (no steaming), cant remember name $25 per day

You might also want to bring some cash in low denominations for any extra tipping and perhaps for souvenirs in your port cities.

Each person can bring one 12 pack of nonalcoholic drink. You will have to carry it one though.

We were just on the Magic. Had no issues with using a credit card. Never had to go to customer services. Could see exactly what was being charged directly in the room on TV.

Bottom line never use a debit card on any cruise..Cash or Credit..But yes when you checked in the cruise line should have told you about the hold when using a debit card..NCL does

Thank you for your suggestion however I have found Royal Caribbean to be my cruise line of choice followed by NCL. My personal preference and as such we no longer cruise Carnival but again, thank you!

I personally didn't like the dream either food had no flavor and it was dirty. I love ccl just won't sail the dream.

yes they put a hold for amount you spent on card that day and also charge that amount on the card that day..It takes about two weeks for the hold to come off your card..So I always just deposit cash on my sail and sign card .Never ever give them your card..

I didn't care for the Carnival Dream...Red is an odd color to be the ships primary interior color!
