Review summary

As a platinum customer I have been on many Carnival cruises, and this was one of my favorites.  The only criticism involved the attitude and service of our head waiter, Connie from India.  After introducing himself on the first night, he ignored us and had a variety of assistants provide for our needs.  When his assistant was flexed elsewhere, he literally threw our silverware on the table and had a very abrupt and negative attitude.  He marred an otherwise lovely experience.

Onboard Activities

Should include some more intellectual fare. Hairy chest contest and the like are unappealing.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
A few really excellent musical shows, but others, like the magician who spent the first 20 minutes with the ring trick and proceeded to make balloon animals, were amateurish and substandard. Kudos to Carnival for moving the second seating show to after dinner.

Service and Staff

Connie from India was the worst head waiter ever.
