Review summary

You need to notify travelers that you require their credit card with them if they need to increase their credit lines. I gave your guest services the Capital One credit card number and security code to increase my credit card. My Chase credit card had a fraud charge from Jamaica and sent me an email to confirm which I could nort responf to since I was on board your Carnival. Chase closed down my card and I could not buy anything on your ship That sucked, particularly since I gave you another card info and you refused it cause I did not have the card. Will NEVER cruise with you again. Frankly compared to other ships, the Carnival rocked and rolled and made us sick. Your entertainment was terrible and you close your casino at night.NEVER WILL BOOK WIYH YOU AGAIN.

It sounds like the majority of your complaint is with your credit card company and/or your failure to inform them you would be sailing to ports in different countries. So I really don't understand your bashing of the Magic! I do not know of one business that will approve a charge on just account information alone and not having the card available. We always take two credit cards with us "just in case". As for the early closing of the casino, what time are you talking about. The casinos on Carnival ships are owned and operated by a third party company just like the shops onboard are so THEY set their operation times. The only time the ship controls the operational times are when the vessel enters local waters when casinos must be closed in accordance with that countries laws. The ship rocked and rolled. You were sailing. Even with modern designs to vessels, even stabilizers sometimes can not compensate for rough seas. You can't blame rough seas on Carnival.

Had wonderful time on Magic in May going again in September. Beautiful ship, good food, friendly staff.

All ships and credit card banks do this that's why you need to inform them before you go that your going out of the country. Also use cash deposit on ships saves alot of headaches with duplicate holds to credit card.
