Review summary

Ship was very well maintained.  Porthole cabin was supposed to have couch but many of these did not.  Major flaw.  Deck 2 cabins across the rear of th ship are very good in most Carnival ships.  On the Magic they are smaller with MASSIVE vibration when the ship docks or course corrects.  So bad you could not view your reflection in the mirror.

Food was down a notch from previous cruises.  Exception was Taste Bar Burgers and Lido steaks (2 nights only).  Sea Day Bar-B-Que was not good at all.  No midnight Chocolate Buffet this year.  Magic again (as last year) proved to be less responsive to customers than other Carnival ships I have taken.  Exception was this year's cabin steward.  He was 500% better than last year's guy.  Still a good value vacation but needs to step up to geive better customer service.

Supposed to have a couch but no attemp by customer service to fix. Very bad vibration at docking or turning. Articles would vibrate off the desk and onto the floor.

Ship tip

Self assist debarkation if started 30 minutes before time was wonderful!
