Just sailing and enjoying the fresh sea air and people watching. it was a good trip for first timers like my grandchildren ages 11 and 13. They enjoyed the movies that was shown on the big outdoor screen.  We enjoyed the comedy hour and the time spent honoring the veterans.  That was a good program and should be held on every trip as the vets do appreciate meeting and talking to each other.

Nice ppl nice ship nice experience This was my first cruise in the US. We paid 299 each for a balcony room. The room was huge compared to my cruise on Princess. There was a long bench built into the wall, and plenty of storage place.

This was my first cruise trip. It was just good. Maybe because i was expecting more. But i wanna make a note here:

alcohol was so expensive. Almost all the drinks starts with $9

All soda drinks was NOT Free. The drink machine was providing a lemonade which is in reality was just a water.

the food was just good except the main dinner which is was very good.

the only 24 hours food place was Pizza which just looks like a pizza 🍕 and we ate it just because it's the only place. ( there are room service but we have to pay)

Room was clean and cool.

The best things about this trip was time with the family, calm seas and nice weather. I give food a 'C' but staff was attentive and kind. The eggs on buffet was so cold they just came out of refrigeration. When booking this trip we asked about activities for mid teens and was told so much to do they will not have time to do it all. This was our primary request. Good trip for under 10 and over 18. Not enough to do on ship for 12-17 age teens without taking excursions. 

I would have liked the cruise much more if there were more things to do on it. It was kind of boring most of the time. The excursions were great but overly priced. The food was not that good, but the Guys burger joint was awesome. The crew on the ship were amazing so we did enjoy the staff. We've cruised for many years now and expected much more from them. It seemed as if they wanted us to gamble and drink and that's it.

the staff were awesome. The only issue was the food. It was often a bit cold. But the rest was great! For my first time on the cruise, it was more than expected. 

I love everything from the food to the people I sat with to everything activities after activities.  The balcony in my room was excellent. The room service was fast. The drinks didn't have that much alcohol in them for the price.

It was a wonderful cruise all the staff were very helpful. I would suggest to be more detailed for first timers on where to find there restaurant example silver Olympian Dining Room was not easy to find.

Both my husband and me had a blast on the cruise. The music, service, and shows were our favorite things that made our vacation awe-inspiring.Looking back at the experience has made us realize that it can be summed up as ordinary people experiencing extraordinary situations--a break from the monotony of every  day living. This,of course, surfed on the crescendo  of the variety of events and people who dashed about in an earnest search for something meaningful to complete what might otherwise have been our daily somnambulism. In the timeline of life, it was the hectic pause that propels us forward.

My wife and I cruised on the Carnival Liberty in April 2016 and we were more than pleased. Fast forward to March 2017 and we were less than thrilled to say the least. Service in dining rooms was slow and not attentive. I am still waiting for the coffee that i asked for with my dessert. For lunches we did a buffet and while the food was good, the bus boys were incredibly slow in cleaning tables. I had to flag them down to remove the previous diners dishes and wipe down the table. 

The entertainment was was good on board, the farewell show was cancelled due to rough seas, but the band and the singers put on an entertaining impromptu set.

the cabins were clean and the mist attentive person we met was our Cabin Steward who did a great job attending to our needs. He was the only person on board that called us by name.

Overall it was a pleasant weekend cruise and the crew made it special. From the waiters calling you by name even though you just sat in their section for the first time to the cabin steward greeting you when you return from a port visit, the crew was exceptional.

This was a great 1st cruise experience.  The atmosphere was very fun and the staff really went the extra mile to make sure you had a great time and felt taken care of.   My daughter was over the moon with happiness because the staff made her feel so special for her 8th birthday.  (Most especially the wait staff in the Golden Olympian Dining Room.)  I thought the food in the buffet could be a little better but it was still enjoyable.  I would recommend this cruise to any first time cruiser.  I cannot wait to go on my next Carnival cruise!

This was my first cruise experience and so I picked a 3 day just in case I didn't like it.  I loved it!  However, I feel like some things could be improved or maybe it was just the ship Liberty.  

1.  Buffet line/food needs to be better - I think the stations should be setup

ala-carte so you can just get what you want and not wait in long buffet lines. The food was mediocre and could be improved as well as the menu.  Example would be the breakfast biscuits could be used as hockey pucks! 

2.  Smells - In the hallways you could smell sewer.  This needs drastic improvement if it can be fixed at all. 

3.  Entertainment - Needs to be more family entertainment for younger kids.  My daughter whose 9 didn't have anything to do after 8pm on the ship.  She did NOT like the kids club.  The arcade was expensive and needed better games. 

4.  Pools - Water was VERY cold and not enough pools on board to handle all the kiddos.  

5.  DRINKS! - Bartenders should NOT have to be pouring sodas!  Soda fountains should be throughout the ship and your customers given a refillable cup they can refill at any time.  At all the bar locations, it took over 20 minutes to get a soda or alcoholic beverage!  This took soooo much time out of your vacation time just waiting in long lines.   Also, the bartenders seemed to be tired and put out since I guess they were working those long lines all day.  

6.  Pictures - All the pictures that were taken by the crew were very good,  but way overpriced.  It would be nice if you offered a picture package deal or lowered the price per picture. Make it more affordable so families can have all the candid moments. 

Overall we had a wonderful time and we would definitely do another cruise! 

CREW MEMBER SEXUALLY ASSAULTED ME ON MY BIRTHDAY. GUEST SERVICE STATED NO COMPLAINT COULD ME MADE ON BOARD SHIP I WOULD HAVE TO CALL CARNIVAL AND I DID AND WAS TOLD CREW MEMBERS ARE FROM AROUND THE WORLD AND HE DID NOT WORK FOR CARNIVAL I WILL NEVER CRUISE AGAIN  

The food was amazing with all dining options and the staff were friendly and helpful. You could hardly tell the ship was crowded because there is so much open space. Up on the main deck was the only part you could tell there was a lot of people. The Punchline Comedy Club was the best!!!!! We saw every show!!! I cannot wait to cruise again in 5 months!

My wife and I went for our 21st wedding anniversary and had a blast. The crew was exceedingly nice and very helpful. The cabins were a nice size and the food was fabulous. 

The cruise don't have a variety of activities. you ether have to drink, dance or gambling, and I don't do any of that things.

Small pool for a big ship, the food at lido wasn't that great, at Golden Olympia was better. the maps in the elevator make me get lost plenty of time, and I also found more lost people.

This cruise was GREAT. My Steward was very attentive and hospitable. His name is Lino and he is the best. The only downside to our trip was the disembarkation. There has to be a better solution. Was waiting over an hour to depart the ship. But overall my experience was wonderful.

My husband and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this year.  We have decided to do this in a variety of ways, starting with a quick get-away for some relaxation on the Carnival Liberty. It was a fun time, but living in Florida, we didn't think about the fact that it was winter break for those who live in the frosty North. This is a great, quick cruise...with smiling faces and lots of warm sunshine. However, if you're looking for something peaceful, this might not be the one for you.  It was pretty loud, and deck chairs were at a premium. Still, for the price, it can't be beat!

Very professional, took great care of us, and made the overall trip that much better. 

Team that took care of was Swatra, Indira, Anastasia. We were very pleased with Anastasia because her great knowledge of languages help us better communicate and get what we wanted.
