Review summary

This was my first cruise trip. It was just good. Maybe because i was expecting more. But i wanna make a note here:

alcohol was so expensive. Almost all the drinks starts with $9

All soda drinks was NOT Free. The drink machine was providing a lemonade which is in reality was just a water.

the food was just good except the main dinner which is was very good.

the only 24 hours food place was Pizza which just looks like a pizza 🍕 and we ate it just because it's the only place. ( there are room service but we have to pay)

Room was clean and cool.

I don't know what alcohol you had but every drink that I had was between $4 and $7. Also, pinterest has a lot of tips for cruisers.

amsafwa you could also google 1st time cruiser and you will get lots of great info as well.

Research, research and more research. You tube as well as the Carnival website have plenty of great info.

Everything that you mentioned could've been easily researched. I definitely did my first time cruising. That being said, I've discovered something new every cruise, that is beneficial for the next time. You cruise and learn. FYI cruisers LOVE to share experiences and information. Don't be shy about asking, your questions may help someone else.❤

Seems like you had a lot of wrong information going in. Sodas are not free unless you purchase the bubbles program, there is plenty on room service menu that is free

cheers package is worth it to me because it also includes soda, shakes and premium coffee and those don't count towards the 15 (alcoholic drink) max

Not to be rude..but sounds like the issue was a lack on research on your part. The bubbles package is less than $10/day for unlimited soda... other than that it's tea lemonade or water. Can you imagine if they provided free unlimited soda?! Yeah that's exactly what every cruise needs is hundreds of kids bouncing off the walls. No thanks. & free room service has already been addressed. You can bring 1 bottle of wine per person. If you're going to have more than 5 drinks it's worth it to by the cheers package.

Does Liberty not do a late night hot dog/chicken/hamburger meal from 11:30 to 1:00a.m. Every ship I have been on does.

Room service has a free section on the menu. (previous long time carnival cruisers will know the menu). Free items are :PB&J, Ham & Cheese Sandwich, BLT, Cesar salads, chocolate cake, cookies etc. they do have an up-charge section of the menu which have wings, pizzas and more.

room service does have a free menu, and some items are pay. Only Disney includes soda at meals. A little research goes a long way.

I though room service was included.
