Review summary

This is my third Carnival cruise in two years. Unfortunately, this one was not so great. Little things like chocolates on your bed at night are no longer. We had an unfortunate incident at brunch in one of the main dining rooms which they sort of fixed. One morning we waited 45 minutes for our breakfast in the dining room and when the food final came out it was lukewarm at best. There were some other mishaps, but the bottom line was this cruise was off for us. This might be our last cruise with Carnival. Hopefully they rectify their decline in quality and service.

I have been on this ship before out of Miami in 2013 and the quality has declined.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was pretty good and location mid-ship was good. A little tight for three people, but we sort of knew that going into this cruise.

Ship tip

I would not recommend going on the Carnival Liberty again. It's a little dated and there are much nicer ships out there.

Puerto Rico is a great island and very Americanized. Of course it's a US territory so that makes sense. However there are parts where you feel like you are on a carribean island.

This US Virgin Island is beautiful. We took an excursion over to St John since we have been here before. Beautiful beaches and great snorkeling.

Unfortunately it rained the day we were there and our excursion was awful. It's a very big island and would like to see it again someday.
