Review summary

We loved the Legend. She is in need of TLC, especially the cabins but overall we had a wonderful cruise. Meals were good for the most part. Service around the ship was great and it was a great experience for me and my children

Embarkation

Easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We enjoyed every meal we ate. My children loved the "anytime ice cream" and most all of the food and choices

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Did not use pool or slide or fitness center

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Enjoyed each show........would have liked more dancing than singing but it was still great. Loved Deal or No Deal, Family Feud and Bingo

Children's Programs

My children ages 18, 16 and 11 chose not to utilize the children's programs. I'm glad they didn't as I am reading that the 16 year old group was quite disruptive. We enjoyed family time which is what we hoped for

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service from room steward and wait staff. Daughter Lauren loved HEY HEY Charnay and Charnay (sp) took a real liking to Lauren

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
For an older ship she is maintained well but definitely needs some TLC.......the ship is very easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Overall the cabin was comfortable. Matress' were excellent. It was quite tight for 4 people but we managed. We tried to keep the cabin tidy which was a challenge but we did it and our cabin steward did a great job.

Ship tip

We sailed with over 600 children. When sailing when children are out of school, go with an open mind and enjoy the "crowds" ........

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Very crowded but enjoyed Junkanoo beach (far down to avoid crowds)

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Loved this island. Rocky water but water shoes helped a lot. My kids are very into nature and they LOVED exploring this island. Enjoyed the kyaks and water bikes

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
Shopping was fun and reasonable there for souvenirs. We stayed within the shopping area

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy. We were with my parents who had priority disembarkation and we did self assist so was simple and quick

The Legend is going into dryvdock in April for updating. A Dive in Movie is being added on Lido deck. The Pride will takes its place

Thank you for sharing.. More cruisers need to check school vacation schedules if the amount of kids bother them… for myself, it is a breath of fresh air! And a welcome change from octogenarians on some other cruise lines! I am happy your family enjoyed your cruise!

Thanks for your review. I love the legend and agree it could use a little tlc but other than that I have no complaints.
