Review summary

We love the Legend. Have sailed on her numerous times. She is in need of TLC, especially the cabins but overall we had a wonderful cruise. Meals were good for the most part. Service around the ship was excellent.

We enjoyed every meal we ate. My grandchildren loved the "anytime ice cream" and most all of the food and choices

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Did not use pool or slide or fitness center

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Enjoyed each show........would have liked more dancing than singing but it was still great. Loved Deal or No Deal, Family Feud and Bingo

Children's Programs

We do not have children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service from room steward and wait staff. GrandDaughter Lauren loved HEY HEY Charnay and Charnay (sp) took a real liking to Lauren

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
For an older ship she is maintained well but definitely needs some TLC.......the ship is very easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Overall the cabin was comfortable. Matress was excellent. Sofa needs TLC and in general the entire cabin needs updating. But it did the job and we were very comfortable

Ship tip

We sailed with over 600 children. If we didn't sail with our daughter and our 3 grandchildren we would suggest not sailing during school breaks, etc.

Didn't venture out but embarkation was a breeze

Nassau, Bahamas

Nassau was very BUSY and crowded but we enjoyed walking to Junkanoo Beach (further down) to avoid the crowds and hustlers.....

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Loved this private island. We rented kyacks and water bikes. The buffet was okay. The beach is rocky but we were prepared with water shoes
