Review summary

Our goal for this cruise was to relax and recharge and we certainly accomplished our goal! We found a nice quiet deck to hang out on and enjoy the beautiful weather. We weren't big on the entertainment but loved hanging out in the piano bar in the evenings. The staff was wonderful. While the food wasn't the best I've ever had, we never went hungry. Overall it was a great trip and we are already planning to do it again next year!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
There were a couple of very good specialty spots but overall the dining rooms and buffets were just average.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We played trivia a few times but mostly enjoyed relaxing on deck.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Loved the piano bar and musicians but the stage shows and performers were only okay.

Children's Programs

I didn't bring any children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was always quick and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The design is definitely dated but the ship was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Beds were surprisingly comfortable. The room was small, especially for 3 people but that's to be expected on a ship and we made it work.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

I'm from the area.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
No excursions but went to Paradise Island and thoroughly enjoyed the sun, sand, and clear blue water, oh, and the lack of other people.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

4 out of 5
No excursions but again thoroughly enjoyed the sand and floating in the beautiful sea.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
This was a short port visit, at an industrial port, so we only got off the ship to do a little shopping right outside the port. It was a drive to get to any of the beaches. Next time, we will be investing in an excursion.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We took our own luggage so that was a little bit of a hassle since we had to be out of the room an hour before we were able to disembark. Otherwise it was very smooth and relatively quick..
