Carnival Legend

7 Night Bahamas (Baltimore Roundtrip)

Sail date: February 06, 2022

Ship: Carnival Legend

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Review summary

Would go again if I wanted to leave from Baltimore, but there's nothing exciting about the ship. Waters north of the Carolinas can be rough and most people need the motion sickness meds on cruises from Baltimore to the Caribbean

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Need more late night options, lines for pizza can be very long. Food is okay, but not stellar. It is nice that they have some cultural food to match the cruise itinerary.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
When we were booking, they advertised a panoramic onboard pod that you peddle to go around the top of the ship for great views. No such feature when you board. The event crew do well trying to keep you entertained and group karaoke is always popular on Carnival. Mostly it's go somewhere, drink, and maybe watch something.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The singing and dancing of the shows/performers are great

Ship tip

Enjoy the main dining for brunch and dinner, watch the shows, and keep a positive attitude.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
If you want local food, go to the Fish Fry area just a short distance from port

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
If you're staying in port, get the coconut drink. First they cut it for you to have the coconut water straight then they take it back to mix your cocktail in it

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Bring footwear. Roads and walking areas burn peoples feet.
