Review summary

Our cabin, and I guess all the others, had 1 electrical outlet in the entire room to handle 2 cell phones, 1 tablet, camera battery, etc.. The cabins should have more than a single outlet. Our TV controlled did nothing but let you change channels and the volume. The closed captions were all in spanish. I called for someone to come and change it to english. No one ever did. Also the adjustments set on the TV made it very hard to see. I asked for someone to come and adjust the TV. No one ever did. The A/C put out cold enough air but the fan did not move enough of the cool air to keep the room cool, during the day, when needed. A fellow came to check out the A/C. He checked the temp at the outlet vent and told us the air was cool enough, we knew that, but did nothing about the volume of air flow.

Newer ships have USB ports on the nightstands or lamps but for the most part, still just have one electrical outlet. Bring a non-surge protector multiple outlet box to plug in.

Not all ships have 1 outlet, newer ones have more. Most ships right now were built before people needed a dozen electronic devices to be entertained.

All ships only have one outlet because it's a maritime law because of fire hazard. The air vents in the ceilings don't have fans because they are gravity fed.

My husband and I had no problems on the ship with outlets. But we were told we could bring non-surge extension cords with us and we did but didn’t use it. I’m sorry about the other stuff we never had any problem and we love that ship!!!

Yikes. The outlet thing does stink and I wonder why they don’t have more but I always bring extension cord. As much as I don’t watch the tv that’s annoying. I like to look st schedule or things from night before that usually plays.
