Carnival Legend

Cabin: GUAR

We decided to cruise Carnival because of a great price for a balcony stateroom even though I felt that Carnival had a tarnished reputation.  The Legend is in great shape with a marvelous crew and staff.  The ports of call were great although Roatan Honduras (Carnivals Island retreat) you don't get to experience the Honduras, only some shopping and beach swimming.  There is the dolphin experience, but it is very expensive.  The food on board in the Truffles restaurant was very good, but not outstanding as I've found on Royal Caribbean cruises.  The ship shudders at certain speeds and isn't an issue unless you're trying to sleep and then is very noticeable.  The staff, particularly our room steward, was outstanding. Boarding and leaving the ship in Tampa was quick and streamlined.  We would definitely sail on the Legend again.

Ship Quality
The ship shudders at certain speeds, very noticeable when trying to sleep.
Food and Dining
Good, not outstanding in the Truffles restaurant. The Unicorn cafe on Lido deck is better.
Service and Staff
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Cabin / Stateroom

Unicorn cafe has better food than in Truffles restaurant.
