Review summary

our ship the Legend was beautiful, with clean stateroom, bathrooms throughout the ship, elegent atmosphere, and convenient elevators everywhere. the staff was not only hard working and friendly but they actually seemed to enjoy the cruise as much as we did. Our stateroom was kept spotless for us even though we sailed with our 13 year old grandson who seemed to change every hour. The activites aboard for our grandson were interesting and kept him involved . Again the staff, from our room steward to the dinning room waiters were friendly and help to make our cruise the best ever.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

while the food was abundant and fresh, I found that sometimes it was overly spicy while other times a little bland. With the restaurant buffett however the food was great, with convenient dining times and a great variety of foods and beverages.

Belize is truly a third world country. Very interesting to drive through the outer areas and see the people and how they live. Our tour was the cave tubing which took us on a 55 min airconditioned bus ride up to the jungle and mountains. There we walked another 45 min to the river where we entered with our tubes for a relaxing ride through the underground caves. The water was crystal clear and cool which was very refreshing after our long walk.
Don't Miss: Cave tubing

I am so glad we had the opportunity to swim at Sting Ray City. what an experience for our 13 yr old grandson as well as us "old guys" Our tour also included a little hole in the wall of a place called Hell that was so much fun and again so glad it was included in the tour. Then on to the turtle farm which was very interesting and educational.
Don't Miss: Sting Ray City

we observed while our grandson did the Swim with the Dolphin tour. Then we were back at the dock to shop. Shopping is a must at this port. It was so much fun bartering with the locals and such a variety of goods.
Don't Miss: Swim with the Dolphins

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

WOW what a beautiful island and everything was new thanks to Carnivals investment into the new piers. Mahogany Bay was relaxing and breathtaking.
Don't Miss: Mahogany Bay snorkeling

Pros: everyting from friendly staff, clean stateroom, delicious food, to the shows

Cons: not enough time in last port which was the most beautiful
