Review summary

We were so impressed by how clean the ship was, top to bottom, inside out. Crew is constantly performing tasks to keep everything spotless. Our waiter was excellent. He also was quite the performer on several occasions and is clearly a dining room favorite as well. Our room steward was also first rate. It would be hard to imagine a more enjoyable, relaxing and romantic week. We eagerly look forward to our next Carnival cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were surprised by how few passengers went to the dining room for breakfast. Of course this is a tribute to the quality and variety of buffet lines on the Lido deck. We enjoyed meeting new passengers with the open seating breakfasts.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were superior. The singing and dancing were enjoyed by all. So much talent on display. And the comedians were hysterical. Excellent.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
First rate, as noted above.

Cabin / Stateroom

Inside cabin was twice as large as we were expecting. We also were pleasantly surprised to find we were sleeping in what amounted to a king sized bed and not the bunk sized beds we were expecting.

Pros: My wife and I liked everything. The food was fabulous. The dining room experience exceeded our expectations in both quality and variety of selections. The various buffet line choice were impressive. How they can handle the number of guests as seamlessly as they do is amazing. Sail and sign is easy.

Cons: We thought that being on a ship with 2300 passengers would not be pleasant. We were mistaken. The easy access both on and off the ship could not have been easier.
