Wonderful cruise

Sail Date: August 31, 2008

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

The ship was clean and nice.

Pros: Great ports and great new Carnival open dining option

Cons: CruisesOnly screwed me out a promissed ship-board credit

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was clean and ample
Service and Staff
Except for a few outliers, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Food and Dining
The new carnival dining option was very nice, very much like the Norweign freestyle cruising. It was great to be able to go the formal dining at any time and get a table.
Cozumel, Mexico
Cozumel is always a great stop for people who like water sports.
Don't Miss: scuba diving
Belize City, Belize
People seemed to like the cave tubing and mayan ruins, but unless you are on an excursion, there isn't much to do here. There are several independant operators offering excursions at the port. Some seemed to be very good deals and more interesting than those offered by the Carnival.
Don't Miss: Scuba diving
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Absolutely wonderful port, but again you have to get on an excursion else you will be stuck at the port without much to do.
Don't Miss: Scuba diving
