We loved our cruise on the Carnival Legend. It was a GREAT family cruise and we will cruise with Carnival again. In fact my children are ready to book another cruise right now. Everyone was very friendly and our cabin steward and the wait staf called us by name.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

GREAT!!!!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Entertainment was really good except for the first night performance. It was was not good at all. Starting with the 2nd night, it was very good with excellant singers and dancers and very funny comedians.

Service and Staff

GREAT!!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Cleanliness, condition of ship and decor were all great. We never saw anything that was not clean or broken, except for one of the glass doors on one of the elevators which they obviously were aware of because it was rooped off and that elevator was out of commission during our cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Before going we were looking forward to this port the least because of what "we" as Americans think of when we think about Honduras. But, let me tell you that this is now my most favorite port and one day we will go back. Tabyanana Beach was fantastic. Take your own snorkeling gear and spen a few hours looking some great coral and fish. Wonderful place. The whole island was very friendly ans they also speak English, which was nice. The only complaint is the ride across the mountians from the ship to the beach. It will try your nerves. They take you in old U.S. school buses that need some work. Don't let that keep you from going though. This island is paradise and we will definetely be back there one day.
Don't Miss: Tabyana Beach

George Town, Grand Cayman

We did the Sea Spi side tour which was really great because it's like snorkeling without getting wet. We actually got a refund on my wife's and daughter's tickets because their boat ran out off battery piower and had to be towed arounf with the guide, which really did not bother them. They actually had more fun because they got to talk to a "local" about the islands history, culture and life on the Cayman's.
Don't Miss: The restaurant right next door to Margrittaville store. It has ourdoor porch. Really good.

Cozumel, Mexico

The Mayan Ruin are a must! We went in April and it was VERY hot at the ruins. Wear a hat and be prepared for all of the Mexican people trying to seel you stuff. Turned off by all of the selling of blankets and jewelry on the boat going from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen.

Belize City, Belize

Private island is great, like Gilligan's Island. The water was not as clear as Mexico or Honduras. Great, clean island. Cleanest bathrooms I saw at any port. Spotless!

Pros: We liked the ports that we visited.

Cons: We felt that the cabin stewards could have catered to us a little more.

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!
