Review summary

Overall, we enjoyed our trip on the Carnival Legends. The service and food were excellent. If you couldn't find something you liked to eat; you weren't looking very hard. Lots of variety.

It was the usual ship entertainment. A little disorganized on the dismissing from the boat on one day for the excursions by tender.

Our wait staff was excellent. They always greeted us by out first names from the first night .

Other than the tables not being wiped as often as we would have liked. The over all cleanliness of the ship was good.

Our steward was awesome. Our room and bathroom were impeccably clean.

The maya ruins were very interesting. The bus ride however was not over good roads. Recommend that if you are prone to car sickness or have back problems the hour plus bus ride would not be for you.

Pros: We thought the ship's crew and personel were very friendly and accomadating

Cons: Although, our room was kept very clean and we saw people cleaning all the time. The tables in the Unicorn cafe and out on deck were not wiped between the passengers as often as needed. There was also not any hand sanitizer near the restaurant entrances as on other cruise ships.

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!
