Review summary
We loved every minute of it! Embarking was a piece of cake because we were allowed to take care of it outside. The sit down breakfast was so delicious! The smoked salmon and cream cheese is a must for breakfast! We really enjoyed the buffet lunch. We would get the sandwiches and bowl of soup. You can also request smoked salmon and cream cheese in the sandwich line at the buffet. It sounds weird but you have to try it. Dinner was out of this world! You can order as many appetizers, but make sure you have an appetite! Don't over do it. Some people on my table would order two dinners and couldn't even finish the first plate. For example they would order one dish of ribs or steak, then they would order lobster. If you don't finish your first plate, you won't get your lobters. They won't serve you a second plate because you are wasting food. OMG! Try the crab cake appetizer and escargot, ceviche. Whatever.
The staff was excellent. We really loved Warren our house keeper who took care of our personal needs and always left our room fresh and clean twice a day!
Even though we paid for gratuity beforehand, twice a day, my husband always left some money and I would write a thank you note on the counter or bed thanking them for their service.
During our sit down breakfast and dinners my husband always gave money to our waiters. A few dollars. $3.00 - $5.00 each.
If you ever get hungry during the day or anytime after mid-night, we would order room service and request peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with milk. They would give us some chips and two cookies and milk. OMG! The peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are insane!!!!
