GOOD FIRST CRUISE

Sail Date: February 02, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

It was a very nice and clean ship. The entertainment was lively and fun. The food was more of a " fast food" theme, and the same food daily. I wasn't too impressed with all the " hidden" charges at the end of the cruise, cleaning fees, taxes on complimentary drinks.etc. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely try a different cruise line just to see how they compare to Carnival.

Ship Quality
decent sized rooms, windows sealed shut
Food and Dining
fast food daily, same meals offered daily.
Service and Staff
very friendly staff
Entertainment
Onboard Activities
bean bag toss?
Destinations and Excursions
we booked our own in ports
Cabin / Stateroom
Good size, no heat, no fresh air through window
Long Beach (Los Angeles), California
easy to find, decent views
Catalina Island, California
beautiful views
Ensenada, Mexico
dirty, industrialized, far from amenities

Tip

definitely catered to the low budget travellers
