Review summary

We joined this cruise to support my nephews wedding.  While we have never traveled on Carnival before, let it be noted that we will never travel Carnival again.  The ship was clean, stateroom very nice,. staff very nice and helpful.

Food was mediocre, service in restaurants was good in some places and poor in others.  A malority of the passengers on the ship were obnoxious and inebriated, poorly dressed and misbehaved.

We saw one show which was excellent, "Divas."

We have traveled the world on many cruise ships and have never had such a poor experience.  Maybe we expected too much.  We were very happy to arrive home.

It shows the poster has only went on this cruise he is the reason why I refuse to go on those uppity cruises I'll stick to my Carnival experiences they treat me damn good and I'd rather hang out with people that are drunk having a great time then people that think they're better than everyone

I am all for having a good time. Our motto is 'Work Hard, Play Hard'! You can take us out in public and have a good time without being embarrassed.

However, some people act like they have never left the barn when they are having fun. Obnoxious, distracting and distasteful. I can certainly understand being 'put off' by people who behave this way. No one wants loud Uncle Bernie falling drunk all over you and shouting in your ear that he loves boobs. Or crazy Aunt Beatrice tipping her $2 Chardonnay on your sexy anchor blouse because she drank 5 too many.

Just  because you paid the same money (ballpark) doesn't give you license to act like a caveman. Have some class and manners while you party! Evolve.

I cannot speak for the person giving the review, but perhaps their experience truly was awful and the people cruising were acting like barnyard animals or cavemen. We don't know...we weren't there. Everyone is entitled to their opinion & even if we disagree, we should at least respect their input. Peace!

Not to be derogatory or anything but perhaps your nose was turned up a little to high to enjoy yourself.  Everyone has their own agenda when it comes to their vacations.  Perhaps you should read some reviews prior to sailing.  I am sure there are other cruise lines that will cater to the more "quiet"? (please pardon my poor grammar).  In this day and age, it is rather shameful to look down ones nose at others.

Don't let someone's bad experience ruin it for others!

Please expand on the difference that you found about Carnival compared to the other lines that you have cruised. Please list the other so we can see what you are comparing against. I have heard that short Carnival cruises are great to party on, while other lines are more sedate. let us know.

Carnivals slogan is "fun ship" if the crowd was to roudy for you maybe you should consider trying RC or Princess where there's a typical older crowd. Also try one of the dream class Carnival ships which are so much nicer in my opinion. And 1st class food is hard to find on any cruise line, but it's plentiful and free so be thankful and maybe think about counting your blessings... In my humble opinion.

So sorry the other passengers were beneath your standards! "...to SUPPORT your nephews wedding"? What's the matter, didn't like the bride? I would have used a different term like "to be part of" or "to celebrate his wedding". Carnival ships are for people like to enjoy themselves. I agree with the theory that you shouldn't sail on Carnival EVER again!!!
