Loved this Cruise

Sail Date: June 07, 2015

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Food was very good, the staff were all courteous, accommodating and are very aware of our needs.  We like specifically the varying towel animals that the room keepers create and place in our room everyday.  It's something new and wonderful.  We love the entertainments especially the "Epic Rock" show.  The band in the Dream Bar was great.  They kept us dancing all night long especially during the last night and has a wide variety of disco songs. Our first stop in Avalon, Catalina Islands was really nice.  We rented a golf cart and toured the highlights of the island in one hour. We love that place.  A lot of tourists go there because of the weather and ambiance as it looks like you're in one of the cozy European places.  Our next stop in Ensanada Mexico was also great as we visited La Bufadora - a mystical wonder of the world where water Geiser spills out every few seconds.  It's a bit similar to Yellowstone's steam Geiser except that this one involves the ocean water. We really had fun and are looking forward to anothe cruise adventure.

Ship Quality
It's nice and decent but looks older as compared to the big ones I'm seeing from Royal Caribbean.
Food and Dining
Had lobsters and steaks during formal dining and were all free!
Service and Staff
They're very accommodating especially the Filipino servers and staff
The Epic Rock show was great and the live band at the Dream Bar was fantastic.
Children's Programs N/A
Onboard Activities
There's lots of them to keep us busy and entertained.
Destinations and Excursions
Loved Avalon and La Bufadora in Ensanada Mexico.
Cabin / Stateroom
A bit small for 3 persons but cozy.
Long Beach (Los Angeles), California
Parking direction was a bit confusing. We ended up in the farther end of the parking area.
Catalina Island, California
It's like a haven for tourists. A wonderful place.
Ensenada, Mexico
Not a very nice city but the attraction we visited - La Bufadora was great

Servers are very accommodating. They will do their best to make your experience memorable.
