Review summary

Possitives:

1: Great daily room cleaning.

2: SLICED meats & tenderloin great. as opposed to the mini prefab. selections at the dine in for some nights were a 5 out of 10 because they didn't have any of the grilled taste, and were not juicy.

3: Personnel nice & friendly 24/7

4: Plenty activities for all ages.

5: In room safe, nice to have.

6: Daily food buffets, good choices, and the anytime sandwich & pizza counters good selection & good tasting.

7: Enjoyed Gym, and jogging track.

8: Live music nice & varied, especially like the "Oh La La" band performing in Mid ship area.

Negatives:

1: Pool= cold with salt water: We cruised Carnival 11 years ago, and this has NOT changed yet!  I took pictures of the overcrowded jacuzzi  next to the pool , yet no one in the pool because it was probably in the low 70s for temp.  When I spoke with a Carnival rep. 11 years ago, they stated that the boat didn't have the resources to make warm non-salty water.  OH COME ON NOW!!!!  after watching the behind the scenes channel about the boat, they heat & purify hundreds of thousands of gallons a day.  I love the water, and this whole cruise is centered around WATER,  and Carnival advertises PICTURES with WATER fun.  So why make the water part so MISERABLE!  The pool should be around 84-85 degrees, with NO SALT!   especially in the winter!.

2: Midnight food fruit art display: would like to have this back.  Where they cut up fruit in a fancy way for decor, then eating.  This was the HIGHLIGHT  of our first cruise, and we showed lots of friends pictures of this.

3: Deserts: Their Cherry, Apple and Berry pies are about a 2 on a 1-10 scale,  the inside of each pie is like a blended firm jello with little taste!  We would hope to have something similar to a restaurant or even a grocery store higher end pie.

4: Some TV channels lacked more programming.  & some of the movies on certain channels were cut off half way through!    Also, their featured 2 movies kept running constant previews over and over instead of PLAYING THEM.  Also they  should have at least 10 movies to view on 2+ channels.
