Breakfast buffet has changed for the worse over the years. Only get bacon every other day. Someone served it to you and only gave you two pieces. When you asked for more they weren’t happy. Ordered an omelette and no bacon, sausage or mushrooms. My Time dining was pathetic. Every night we logged on app and reserved spot. Every night it stated under 20 minutes. Never happened. Anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour even though it said under 10 minute wait. First dress up night sat at table for 3 hours to complete dinner. 45 minutes from appetizer to salad. Need to change management. Very disappointing. Shrimp cocktail was tiny shrimp cocktail

Don’t. I have taken 6 Carnival Cruises and a few Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean is in a class of their own with entertainment and food

My tip: next time for disembarking, ignore their instructions. If you are able to, take your own luggage and go chill in the buffet area and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Wait until the masses leave, then go. It’ll be much easier! That’s what we have learned to do and we are still on the road early.

It looks like you visited some great ports 😊 I am sorry that you faced a few challenges with the app and dining. One of my most favorite things about The Horizon is how easy it is to get to everything. I especially loved the Lido deck. Everything my husband and I wanted, was right there. The covered seating on the Lido was wonderful as well. We love the Horizon and hope you get to sail on her again in the future and have a better experience. Happy Cruising 🛳

Some how I knew Royal Caribbean would be mentioned at the end. Funny thing is that was the only positive thing said. I wonder how many people take a Carnival cruise just to complain about it? Anyway no worries... with the price hikes of Royal Caribbean, pretty soon everyone will be singing the Carnival Praise song!!!

Really you down rated a cruise because you couldn’t get bacon. Be glad it wasn’t readily available your cholesterol level was happy lol.

go sail royal then. 30 passengers fell ill while just of radiance of the seas with food poisoning on a flight. all just off that ship

We were on the Horizon in late April and had a great time. We ate breakfast in the dining room most days and always were able to get bacon. The trip still would have been great even if we were unable to eat bacon

Always amazes me how many people judge the quality of their vacation based on the availability of bacon. Perhaps because I didn't have a bacon-centric perspective, I always live the Horizon and will be back on her next me. Find me in the spa...bake'n myself on a stone lounger...ahhh

Sailed the Horizon in 2022, had the complete opposite experience. Food was great, and really enjoyed the onboard brewery.

Sailed on Horizon May 11. Everything was perfect. If people would stop wasting so much food they’d probably have bacon every day, like they used to.
