I am not a huge fan of the new menus. That being said, we could always find something each night for dinner. Anytime I got steak in the MDR, it was overcooked.

I think we talked with our room steward 3 times during the trip. Normally when we see them, they will stop and chat and become part of our experience. This time, he said hello and kept right on walking.

We have been on the Horizon before so made this trip super easy. If only everyone paid attention to the video being played about the elevators, it would have been better.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our first cove balcony! This room was exactly what we expected. We really liked being that close to the water and enjoyed being able to sit outside every day before dinner.
Ship tip
Learn the elevator system and be patient with those that don't.
We rented a golf cart and explored the beautiful island. Definitely the way to see Bonaire since we could stop where we wanted and go at our pace. The only down side is that the written directions from the company were not the best and we kept having to turn around and guess.
Curacao is my favorite port of call. There is so much to see and do on the island. This time we took a walking tour that brought us all over Otrabanda and Punda. The tour guide gave us a lot of interesting history regarding the island and the different sights we were seeing.
Why is getting off the ship so frustrating. We had a Carnival excursion to the Everglades and then to the airport. They had us going the same way as all the people using the elevators to self debark with all their luggage. We ended up losing more than half our group and started the excursion almost an hour late. We got to the airport with 45 minutes until boarding started for our flight which was after the time Carnival suggested.
