Watch a video of the elevators (if you’ve never been on). Pretty easy to use once you try it!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
This was pretty quick. While we did have FTTF, I feel like this didn’t get us through any quicker. We arrived at our scheduled time (10:30) and by the time we finished- we waited maybe 10 mins for the FTTF boarders (they had called platinum when we arrived at our spot).
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

I can speak for any of the breakfasts daily or sea day as I was never up for one. We did do the Dr. Seuss breakfast on last sea day. It was super cute, but my food came out ice cold. But that didn’t ruin the experience.
MDR food was ok. I personally am not a fan of the new menu, however I do know other people enjoy it. We ate in the specialty restaurants which were good. I’m not a huge fan of the buffets, but I did frequent guys, blue iguana (burrito bowl was great!!!) and the sandwich shop.

Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There seemed to be something always going on. I never found myself struggling to find something to do. My only “complaint” was there were often times when there were a few thing going on at the same time that I wanted to do
Entertainment

I only caught 1 show which was good (holiday show). There were plenty of options to choose from though!
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
My interactions were staff were good. I heard some people on my sailing complain of negative interactions, however that was never my experience. Yes there were times when it took a few mins to get a drink, but the bars were often packed so it was to be expected.
Our room steward was fantastic!
Ship Quality

Again- some had complained on our sailing page, but our room was clean (I always wipe down any way with wipes - I do tho when traveling in hotels too). But I always saw people cleaning common areas too.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was a spa interior and it wasn’t bad. My only dislike was on the couple nights when the ship was rocking, we felt it a little more being up so high (at least I did). Wasn’t the “rooms” fault, but I just know for future to stay mid or lower. The size worked for us. We didn’t utilize any of the spa perks that come with it (we kept forgetting about them) so I can’t comment on them. We did have bathrobes in room, but never wore them
Ship tip
Watch a video on the elevators. I kept hearing people say the elevators were bad/confusing. I watched a video on YouTube and honestly they weren’t bad. I actually liked them- I felt like it kept people from jumping into an elevator since it was open. The only “negative” I had was there were only 2 elevators that went up to 14, but that is ship design and after the “this sucks” thought on day 1, we were over it. Just made sure to add a few minutes when planning things to give ourselves enough time.
We hired a private tour guide. He was amazing!!! We explored the city, saw the Toros baseball stadium and went to Altos de Chavón (which was beautiful)!
I feel like this wasn’t as smooth as embarkation, but wasn’t horrible. It did take a little bit to find our luggage (we looked for 20 mins- it was put in the wrong carousel). But we had passports so other than getting to our luggage, it was quick.
