Great cruise as usual by Carnival. We tend to like the Conquest class so this ship was next to the biggest ship we have been on with Carnival (Breeze) but we still enjoyed the ship and the locations.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
It was a very busy day and had a little wait but that will happen from time to time so no issues.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We mainly stuck with the buffet or other places. No dining room on this trip. The Pig and Anchor were good and we also ate at the Steakhouse. Was not overly impressed with the steakhouse, the food was ok but they made us feel rushed and it was not busy.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We did not participate in any onboard activities on this cruise but we know Carnival always does a great job!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly and attentive, the only small issue was the Steakhouse (as mentioned) they made us feel rushed

The room was great, this was our first cruise on deck 1 (we normally stay on 6 or 7). This was a deluxe ocean-view room and had plenty of space. Was grateful for the extra bathroom also, we both could get ready at the same time. The only issue we experienced was a loud banging noise coming from under us on some nights that would keep us awake. Deck 0 was under us which we know the crew calls it "Main St or Broadway" so assumed they were just moving things around. But something to keep in mind if you pick this room.
We love Aruba and purchased a day pass at the day at Riu palace adult side. Great place to kick back and relax. We have been to Aruba many times and were never disappointed.
Willemstad was different for us this time. We are had always purchased a day pass at Santa Barbara Beach Resort and had the best time ever, every time. SBBR was bought our by Sandals and they do not have day passes at this location, so we walked about Willemstad and still enjoyed ourselves.
This was our first time taking our own luggage off and it was super easy. We had an early flight so it worked out great and could not have been happier.
