CD Cookie and his crew are amazing. My overall experience on the Horizon was great. So much to do I really could not get it all in. The boat itself is clean, fresh and up to date, beautiful. Staff are wonderful and friendly. I really only had 2 issues the entire week. I was not happy with the dinning room at all, I thought the food was horrible, and the lido deck/ pool area/ serenity deck or any where else you could possibly find a chair to enjoy the sun was just too small. There was never enough seating for the capacity of passengers.

Food and Dining

The specialty restaurants were very good. Sadly I didn’t get to try all of them. Anything I had from lunch or dinner was delicious.
The buffet was always clean, food was good and they had menu selections that changed. I am not a huge fan of the buffet experience, I usually ate elsewhere.
Pizza, Deli Sandwich Shop, Guys Burgers, Taco and Burritos are always delicious, clean and never disappoint.
The salad bar on Serenity is a hidden gem. I loved the salad there.
The main dining was not as wonderful as I remember. Each time I went I was terribly disappointed!!

Service and Staff

Joe, our room steward, took care of every need we had. He was always pleasant and greeted us by name, every time we saw him.
Ship Quality

The ship is extremely clean. No problems ever. Hand sanitizer and washing stations located throughout the ship.
The layout on the other hand was disappointing. I believe that there is just not enough space for the capacity of the ship. The lobby bar area appeared small, I miss the bar area in the casino, definitely not enough room in the Liquid Lounge. Love and Marriage show had people standing in the isle, sitting on the floor and a significant amount turned away. The lido deck was a huge disappointment. It was extremely hard to get a lounge chair. Everyday we had to search for a seat. There was just not enough space for the amount of people on the lido.

Ship tip
Make reservations early, go to shows 30 minutes ahead to stand in line and if you are someone who enjoys the pool, hot tub or lying in the sun, get the Cabana Suite. That is the only place you did not have to fight for a spot.
