It was a fun and relaxing cruise, I was never bored and certainly never hungry. I went to all the performances, the comedy club, watched a football game in the Skybar and enjoyed the Dive In movies. I also managed to eat everywhere that was free (some of the restaurants have free lunch options, which I strongly recommend, especially the buffet at Guy's Pig and Anchor). I am glad to be home, but am already planning my next Carnival cruise.

Embarkation was fine, but my mom needs wheelchair assistance and the fellow who was helping her on to the ship had never done this before and it showed.

I love the food on Carnival and I ate like a Queen. I especially love the Sea Day Brunch (maybe too much, I gained 8 pounds in a week, but it was worth it)

There is always something to do, I enjoyed the sunrise stretch and abs class, the Dive-In movies and the Clue Mystery game.

Horizon had the best entertainers in the fleet, I loved the performances and Lip Sync Battle was surprisingly fun.

Ship tip
We loved our cabin, even though we didn't have a balcony, we had a tub which was nice to relax in after a long day of excursions.
We have been to this port several times, so we actually decided to get off for just an hour or so but head back on the ship early to enjoy the shorter lines and the port day matinee.
We went on a great excursion, sadly the butterfly garden had been destroyed in hurricane Irma and I had been looking forward to visiting it, but we still had a good time
