Good cruise meat some great people along the way. I had a great time on all of the excursions we went on along with on the ship.

Smooth and quick, no one ever asked us to take our bags onto the ship we boarded early in the earliest group we could but even though no one asked it was not hard to carry on all of our luggage. there was a slight delay in the onboarding process where we had to sit and wait for about 20 minutes.

White Heat Dance Club

I went to the club every night I was on the ship and about 2 nights it had a good atmosphere most nights there where only 2-5 people dancing the dj tended to be good but what really annoyed me is he would play 3-4 good songs and people would be coming to the dance flor and the all the sudden he would completely change up the kind of music and everyone would leave he would also completely shut down the dancefloor any time that someone would bring a drink onto it which yes I understand its a safety hazard but they had security at the two entrances to the dance floor that would just let people with drinks walk past them.
Platinum Restaurant

every night that I went we had a group of 8-9 except one night when we had 15 even though this large group the service was still about as fast as a group of say 4 people our weightier each night was very nice and we enjoyed having him.

The food at the buffet is always pretty good one thing that i noticed on this ship is that they have the midnight buffet. This was not on my last two cruises and I LOVE IT it beats waiting in that long pizza line every time i wish they would have this on all of the ships.
Guy's Burger Joint

The quality of the burgers is always about the same witch is a good thing always great burgers. they do seem to have changed there fries recently witch is the only reason i did 4 stars.
Onboard Activities

The parties on this ship where better then my last few it felt the same amount of people at the parties as when i was on the celebration and that is about double the people. the night club was so so a lot of people just there for the bar not many dancing. only reason i gave it 4 stars was the fact I don't like how carnival removed the white party and the 80s rock and glow party the tried to keep them around on this ship by turning them into the (white silent disco) and the (80s music farewell party) but it wasn't the same

Great place to relax I love how the hot tubs where at the very front of the ship offering great views while being blocked by the wind by glass only problem I have with it is i wish it was a bit bigger and the hot tubs closed rather early even though the app said they where open tell 1am the crew told us they needed to close it around 10pm and that we could go to the other hot tubs in the back of the ship witch was rather disappointing.
Old Glory Atrium

I love the design language on these older ships the bar in the lobby was very fast good place to hangout and they almost always had a band/musician playing in it if that is what you into.
Entertainment

I went to a few of the main shows and i enjoyed them mostly but where it really shined was the comedians. i went to all of the shows (not including repeats) and every one of them was amazing my group was always laughing and the lines where huge to get into the shows every night and it was always standing room only we even had some shows where they had to shut down the entrance. On the last night they had a double showcase in the main theater both where amazing shows but the second act was a female she's a older black women (I don't remember her name) but she ended the show with the whole audience giving her a standing ovation>
Service and Staff

I had great service at all times I needed it and I never had any issues with the staff my room steward was great his name was George the cruise director was also very good Johnny Loney.

i do enjoy the design language of the older carnival ships i think they have more personality then the newer ships its a little small for my taste i enjoy the ships more in the size of the magic class of ships i never noticed anything dirty or broken.
Cabin / Stateroom

it was a good ocean view cabin it was clean one of the drawers was broken bur for a ship as old as the glory nothing bad.
When we got there it was SOO hot with humidity it was 115 we had a good time went to the aquarium witch has lost about 30% of its exabits sense last time we where there. on boarding was a good time we parked our car at Machu Picchu Tours small business good prices and they got us to the port very quickly.http://www.machupicchutours.com/
We went on a tour of the island and then snorkeling from a small company named (Roatan boat tours) we had the boat to ourselves and a very friendly tour guide he uses profits from the business to fund his small church on the island very nice guy had a great time on the boat with him he picked us up right outside the port and took us to his boat very nice boat cooler full of drinks and he asked what we wanted to see on the island and recommended some stops. https://www.facebook.com/roatanboattourshn
We went on a tour to the Maya ruins it was a good time they served us a traditional meal and you had to try there local beer (Belikin) they really push the coke that is Belize specific but I couldn't tell a difference from regular Mexican coke.
We went on a semi submersible and had great views then we went to the local chocolate factory then to the tequila factory I was hoping they would let us tour the factory but it was just a speech on how they make it then a tasting.
about as smooth as they normally are a few lines but nothing all that bad total process took about 40 minutes our shuttle bus from Machu Picchu Tours was waiting for us when we got off.
I'm glad you had a good time. For future reference, you usually drop your luggage off, before you park. It's super easy. Just make sure they don't get your backpack with meds, passports, etc, in it. I'm looking forward to Glory in February. We haven't been on her.
