We really enjoyed our cruise and we will definitely be going on the Glory again real soon.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was fast as always. Parking at port is very convenient. New Orleans is one of my favorite ports.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Guys Burgers was delicious as always. Dinner and breakfast in the main dining was awesome. I love the Cuban sandwich, Buffalo Chicken sandwich and BLT from the Deli.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Not too many actives especially towards the end of the cruise. We enjoyed the shows, comedy club and Karaoke. I wish there were more activities on the Lido deck during the day like there used to be.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Entertainment was great. Loved the shows and comedy club. Also enjoyed the atrium band and the Latin band near the casino.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff was great and everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We loved the Glory. We sailed on the Valor this past May and I found this ship to be a lot nicer. It was very clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that I wish the ship had more covered areas around the Lido deck like the middle covered deck area on the larger ships.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was good, clean and no problem with the AC as some were complaining about. Just your normal sized interior cabin. We chose an interior cabin this time because of the great casino offer we received.
Ship tip
A few reminders for gold card passengers: get your free bottle of water from a any bar or in the dining room, a VIFP pin from Pixels studio, and your complimentary drink after 5:00 pm the day before you get off the ship. The bars have a list of the complimentary drinks you can get. Remember to have fun!
We went to Senor Frogs which we’ve enjoyed on previous trips, but this trip it wasn’t as fun as it used to be. We spent time there than walked around and wished we would have gone on an excursion.
From the ship there was a short walk to the transportation that dropped you off at whatever location you chose for the day. Our excursion was Beach 360. The beach was beautiful but drinks and food was very pricey. Drinks were all $21, so we enjoyed our day and ate and drank when we got back to the ship. The water was beautiful, a few jelly fish came around but they didn’t bother anybody.
