Overall we had a great cruise and definitely will be booking another one soon!

New Orleans is always quick to us. We had a arrival time of 10-10:30. We were quickly put in the on time line and it took us probably around 20 minutes to get everything completed. By the time we finished checking in they called out zone and we didn’t even have to set down. We made it onto the ship by 11:20.

Food and Dining

Our first stop is always Guy’s which was amazing like always. We grazed the buffet twice. There wasn’t much there that caught our eye. When we remembered about the BBQ we would eat there as well. I wish it was in a more convenient place because we often forgot about it until after they had closed. We ate at the main dining room each night. To us it was good. We know what we like at tend to stick to that. Blue Iguana for breakfast was great! My husband enjoyed the sushi. We ate sea day brunch all 3 sea days and enjoyed it as well.

Our room steward was great…the room not so much. Standard balcony room nothing fancy. My complaint would be that the room was a little on the warm side for me. The boys had room 7361 and their room was warm as well.
Ship tip
Nice ship but short in staff. Be kind and remember you are on vacation.
Loved this port. We decided to do the Bottoms Up cave tubing and it was a blast!! Be mindful it does take about an hour to get the cave, and then you have about a 20 minute hike in the rainforest. Out guide stayed with us the whole time and we stopped many times to keep the group together. The tubing lasted about 45 mins. During the whole thing our guide told us about the history of the cave system and pointed out certain rock formations. We were tied together with another family of 4. They had smaller boys so they were placed in the center of all the adult tubes. We all had life jackets and helmets with lights on them.
We booked the Maya Key excursion through Carnival. We enjoyed the excursion but didn’t like the fact that we were left on the island all day. The kids snorkeling and we hung out by the pool. We walked the whole island and looked at all the animals. They have a feeding schedule but when the boys signed up for snorkeling it was going on during the time. Food was amazing! I wouldn’t call it a true buffet. There was rice and beans, bbq chicken, fried fish, fried plantains, and salad. Food was amazing so get the workers to pile it on because you can only go through the line once. No other food except for snacks in the shop. There is a bar the does mixed drinks. I believe we got there around 9:30 and couldn’t leave until 2.
We love Cozumel. No excursion here instead we went to Paradise Beach for the day. The boys enjoyed the jet ski’s and water activities. We all enjoyed the all inclusive food and drinks.
