Embarkation was smooth

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was mediocre. If you have to get off of the ship at 7 but the buffet and or dining room do not open til 7-730 which is just ridiculous. We ended up having to buy food for 11 people on shore as we had 3 children with us and half the time the coffee pots were empty.

Cabin / Stateroom

Poor. Steward came in once late in the day he was always very busy sweetheart When booked we were told we could have our balcony doors opened t our family next door in 8254 once on board miraculously that was the only cabin they couldn’t open it but funny they were able to open when it was time to clean

Ship tip

Don’t waste your time this ship has turned us off of carnival not to mention out of 14 of us 13 came home with covid

Yes thank you my son is doing better and no the outlet was not the only thing and they did understand what I was asking since we asked twice. Please do not try to defend they had no continental breakfast on port days only juice and coffee which they couldn’t keep full. We have been on over 60 cruises since the 90’s when we fell in love with them and I worked for a smaller cruise line more than 30 of those have been on carnival this is the worst cruise ship we have ever been on. I realize they are having staffing issues every company is but you still have to accommodate for certain situations.

That is strange they did not have any food on a port day before 7am. Usually they have a continental buffet for early risers or room service. The room size and outlets cannot be a reason a cruise line has gone down hill. Those were the same when it was your favorite. Maybe the room steward did not understand about opening the balcony door or maybe some rule you didn't know about. I would have questioned it more to find out. Every line is having issues now though.

Yea glory was my first cruise in May and it was mediocre when it came to the expectations I have been hearing about.

Glad you were able to get off the ship quickly to get your son the help he needed. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations. I agree that cruising isn’t close to what it used to be.

Thanks for the review. Cruising is not the same is it was prior to Covid and probably never will be exactly the same.
