Due to no fault of the ship, we were in the ocean after a storm and the ship was so rocky I was sea sick a lot of the time. Our cabin steward Reginald did a great job everyday keeping the cabin clean. There were so many drunks on this cruise (still no fault of Carnival) and it really comes down to the caliber of people cruising. Parents letting their kids run wild on the ship and teenagers running into me several times almost knocking me over. My experience was just okay due to atmosphere with the ocean and wild, unruly people. And some cleanliness issues.

Service and Staff

Great and personable service.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The staff tried their best to keep things clean, but it was the caliber of some of those cruising that made it less than desirable. The ship is in need of refurbishing.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was awfully uncomfortable and the mattresses need replacing. The balcony was dirty and sitting and trying to look through the balcony glass was distorted by salt water and crud. They never cleaned the windows like they did on another ship, which was done on a port day.
Ship tip
Choose another port and a newer or newly refurbished ship.
Did a fun beach and shopping excursion. The beach was well maintained and we had free drinks and lunch. The lunch was wonderful. It was a 45 minute ride both ways by motor coach with a tour guide explaining the island. Very interesting, however they ask for tips. The shops at the port were touristy and expensive.
We had to cancel our excursion due to heavy winds and ocean waves. We've been to Cozumel before and at the port shops, they are very pushy but you can just keep walking. The 3 Amigos bar is nice and the food good.
Appreciate your feedback. Spring Break is always a challenge for cruising. Sorry you got sea sick, but glad you realized it was not the fault of Carnival.
