Review summary

First "Covid" cruise for us, my 8th cruise, husband's 4th, friend's 2nd, her husband's 1st. Embarkation went super smooth because we were prepared and had everything we needed. Sail away was cool, turning in the river. Halloween cruise was a first, and all of theme stuff was fun and different.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Had all of our paperwork and tests in hand, super easy check in. Early check in time, walked right on after check in counter.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We know supply chains are compromised, however selections for food types on this ship were lacking.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Found enough to do for us, but we are pretty laid back. Didn't see a lot to do during the daytime hours other than trivia.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Enjoyed all the shows in the main theater and the comedy shows we were able to catch.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cabin steward Cindy was great. All bartenders at the tides bar and red frog were awesome. For us Leon was not all that as a cruise director.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
People were always cleaning and everything was easy to find.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great layout and plenty of storage

Ship tip

Try to book midship in case of rough seas. Front and back were super rocky.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Favorite port so far, love Chankanaab beach park.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Beach day is always wonderful

Disembarkation

Really fast debarkation. We did self assist and after they called our muster station we were off and by our car within 20 minutes.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise. I love cruising from New Orleans, but the Glory is one of my least favorite ships. Other reviewers have commented on the lack of food variety for this ship. I would've thought it should have improved by now.
