Review summary

We had a great trip even though we had 2 Med-flights come pickup people with medical emergencies and a “man overboard” that was a false alarm. We never got off schedule and we had a blast! Much needed relaxation!

Buffet was pretty bland and boring but the Platinum Dining room breakfast was amazing! The chia seed pudding was fabulous! We had My Time Dining in the Golden Restaurant and it was pretty amazing! Overall, we loved the food. Drinks are expensive so we brought a 12 pack of diet dr peppers each so we cut down a lot on drink costs.

Onboard Activities

So many activities onboard! Bingo was so much fun even though I didn’t win anything.

The love & marriage show was so funny! The lip sync show was pretty funny as well.

Service and Staff

We had great service 99.9% of our vacation. The only time we had an issue was breakfast one morning..our server acted like he was being bothered to take our order. We mentioned it to guest services and were given drink tickets for 6 drinks (up to $10) for free. We had no other issues all cruise long.

Ship Quality

The Glory is an older ship but we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. It could use more hot tubs though.

Ship tip

Book shore excursions early. Go to the Serenity Deck for rest and relaxation with no one under the age of 21.

We went on the See & Sea excursion. It included a nature walk, glass bottom boat tour, and amazing views! Great excursion that doesn’t break the bank!

We didn’t do an excursion in Key West because my best friend of elementary school lives there..so we met up, had lunch and she showed us around. I recommend going to Willie T’s bar & grill!

I forgot to mention, our cruise director “Cookie” did an amazing job keeping us all informed, was hilarious during the shows and he deserves a raise after everything that happened during our cruise lol
