While we were spoiled by the Carnival Dream & the service we received waiters and waitress went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and like royalty. The service on the glory was terrible and they almost made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them. .. I would HIGHLY recommend Carnival but would warn everyone DO NOT GO ON THE GLORY ! I felt like I got ripped off ! Where like I say service was so good on the Dream I felt like I needed to tip more and felt like I had a great vacation. Plus there were no maintenance issues with the Dream or if there was it was so well hidden that we didn’t notice it.

After paying 800 and some odd dollars for the drink package I was extremely disappointed when you had to be your own waitress and go get your drink yourself if you waited on deck and they told you they were going to send a waiter it might be an hour and a half later before you would see anyone. The last Carnival Cruuse was terrific this one was extremely disappointing

The ship design was ok I was upset that the deck above the pool only had lounge chairs instead of tables as when you are older and larger it is impossible to get up and down in one of those so you couldn’t go watch the activities at the pool or the movie or anything.. the maintance that was going on while we were at sea was horrible and many many people complained about the noises waking them up between 2 and 4 am.. then getting in some areas the paint fumes were so bad I thought I was gonna pass out. We had no hot water for 3 days. And pipes rattled terribly.. like everyone said boat needs to be dry docked and overhauled then a bunch of staff added so you could get the drinks you already paid for.. we shouldn’t have had to pay gratuities on the drinks since we had to be our own waitress and waiters most of the time.

Like the port ! This time was so easy to get on the boat where before we had to stand in line for 1 1/2 hours trying to get thru the line to get on board
We agree , the Glory just doesn't hold up Carnival standards. The CD we had was terrible to be Blunt. Our son was proposing to his girlfriend on board , so my wife contacted the CD to get some help with setting this up . He never called back , we had to track him down , only to be told that he was too busy for this , so we set it up with our wait staff in the main dining room , they brought out the ring with her dessert plate. Glory should be overhauled , as well as most of the staff.
Sorry you didn’t have the experience you expected! We had an awesome crew a year ago. Now that the ship is in need of more repairs, hopefully they will get more done when in port and not disturb the passengers. Every once in a while we have had a cruise that did not live up to our expectations. Try again, the next one should be better!
