Review summary

This was a very nice cruise for us. Probably not our most favorite but in the top 4. We went in a group of around 25 family members and we all had a good time. The ship was old and very used but it definitely wasn't the worst ship we've ever been on. The itinerary was pretty good. Will be back to most of these islands again.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The embarkation process was a little slow on this cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was nothing special this time around. We have had better.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The glory is an older ship now and didn't have all the bells and whistles the newer ships have. Not the worst ship I have been on though.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The musicians were great lots of places to sit and listen. The stage shows were not that great.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
My daughter loves camp ocean. She would stay there the entire trip if we allowed her to.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The staff was very hit and miss on this ship. The room stewards were good but the dining staff wasn't.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship design was fine. It's like the carnival freedom. The ship was clean but needs some TLC badly. Lots of places it was falling apart. Needs to be renovated.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was your basic balcony. Plenty of room for 2 people and most importantly it was clean.

Ship tip

Don't use the back dining room if you have a choice. Very noisy and lots of vibrations.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

2 out of 5
Not a huge fan of Miami. No excursions here.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

4 out of 5
Did a beach day. The beach here is top notch. Beautiful sand and water. Carnival also has a free lunch buffet here too.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
St. Thomas is a beautiful island. Went to magens bay and did some shopping. Magens bay has a very nice beach.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
Liked San Juan very much. Went to the forts and also did some shopping. The forts are very cool and inexpensive. We didn't do any excursions here, just went on our own. Also the have a free tramvthat services old San Juan. It's hop on and off.

Grand Turk Island

3 out of 5
Not one of my favorite islands. Went to the beach right off where the ships dock. Very rocky..

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Disembarking was very smooth and quick, unlike embarkation.

A CRUISE IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT. You can be positive or you can complain about everything
