Review summary

It was a great cruise. There were 14 of us and we had a blast. My only complaint is the kids. Though we had kids in our group, we ensured they were respectful of other people experience and space. Kids would knock on the cabin doors and run, run up and down the halls loudly all hours of the night. It would be better if there was a curfew or something.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy and straight forward, even for 8 of us.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was decent.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The fitness center was nice. Quite a few available activities like corn hole, shuffleboard, pools, etc. I wish there was more like rock climbing, wave rider, pool tables, etc.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I really enjoyed the shows. Carnival really knows how to entertain. The comedians were great. Karaoke was fun too.

Children's Programs

I don’t have any kids. I wish all the kids would use these services because they are out of control on the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was fantastic. Our steward, Filomeno, was the best.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

It’s family oriented. Be aware there are lots of kids!

LMG1988 I agree with you totally. It is true cruisellama that your kids are part of Carnivals core business but that does not mean they should run around and interfere with other passengers.

We took 5 of my 7 on our last cruise during spring break time frame. What a nightmare. My youngest were 10 yr old twins, they know the respectful way to act and behave. They went to one of the kids club activities, scavenger hunt, all the kids in their group kept running in halls and almost knocking into people. When the kids in their group yelled at my kids for not keeping up they stopped playing. Curfew absolutely!

Too many parents believe the ship itself is a babysitter

Unfortunately it only takes a small group of dumped off unsupervised kids to terrorize an entire ship.

Thankfully, with all the cruises we have been on, we have not experienced this on a cruise. I totally believe it happens! as it happens with kids different places... bad parenting! I think it is just the times we go. There are always kids, but generally, the parents tend to mind their kids. Also, the times when parents take their kids out of school or homeschool, like we do. They had better behave! I just couldn’t put up with that mess. I’d be the one to tell them to take me to their parent or tell them I will look for them with their parent....
