Review summary

I have been on two Carnival Cruise Ships, this one (Glory) was nothing like the other two ships that I've been on. The Cruise Director did not set the tone for the cruise, the buffet food did not have a wide variety, and some of wait staff in the dinning room wmwere not friendly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Lunch buffet had the same items every day (Chicken Tenders). Yes there was other options but chicken tenders every day, really. One of the staff members at Guy Burger I had to say smile it's going to be alright, there reply it's hard at times. Two wait staff at dinner were not friendly at all, my Aunt asked for coffee and I asked for hot tea; in which we never received

Entertainment

The Play List production's could have been better if the dancers looked like they were having fun. Some of the dancers looked as if they just learned the routines. The music was GREAT. But the dancers NO.

Service and Staff

Carnival has the best staff on the water. This is very unusual to hear.

We also had Dustin on our two Glory cruises and he was great, sorry you had a bad experience

I had Dustin as cruise director on the glory 2 years ago and he was great! Must be someone else now. (But it was also my first cruise so I have nothing to compare to 🙂)

Sounds like a cruise director we had once. He seemed miserable and I just wanted to be away from him. This was on the Dream a few years ago. We have had excellent cruise directors this year! They can really weigh on a cruise experience.
