Review summary
We were pretty unhappy with the food on the trip and the terribly LONG lines to get any food. We let them know that we had 3 vegetarians, one is gluten-free and the choices were pretty minimal except for breakfast. There was no gluten free (bread etc) at all. The vegetarian was the same each night with a small change in the type of curry, the rice that came with it got older and older as the week went on. The staff is overworked, so they are not super friendly, they seem very indifferent and don't care for make contact or help or even answer a lot of questions. Our cabin person was very personable and the people who were our servers in the dinner restaurant we occasioned were also pretty nice, but overworked, so it was hard to get things we needed at times. The cruise is inexpensive and we guess they have to cut somewhere, but on thanksgiving night for example, there was no food for the vegetarians...they brought out a small dish of peas and carrots that were from a can or from frozen...not acceptable really.Embarkation

Get a nicer room if you can (upgraded). It was so nice to have a balcony!
