Review summary

Overall, a great cruising experience. The one problem, however, my son had a bad cold and as a precaution I took him to the doctor on board. He was subject to a battery of unnecessary tests, since it was obvious that he just needed some usual over-the-counter medicine that we forgot to bring. He did not have fever, or nausea, for example. The final bill was close to $700, which I consider an outrage.

Entertainment

Entertainment used to be much better. This year's was a repetition of last year's. I guess cruise personnel did their best.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
A Platinum restaurant server, Rolando, was particularly nice. He has talent for entertainment and knows quite a few tricks. The medical staff, however, subject my son to a battery of unnecessary and expensive tests (see below).

Ship tip

Always bring cold medicines. Medical services on board are extremely expensive and will run unneeded tests for which you have to pay.
