Review summary

I knew this was an old ship, but thought it would be okay since it was refurbished! The staff was all wonderful! The room steward was great! The air conditioning did not work very well! I requested a fan and the room steward found one for me! The dining staff was also great! The food in dining room was good, but not great! This cruise was not cheap! We paid a little more for this cruise than the Oasis of the Seas! Both balcony rooms! Both 7 day cruises!

The big stage show was Motown! Singers sat on a stool and occasionally stood up to dance! Only a curtain behind them. Not a Broadway type show in any way! Comedy shows were okay, but only 30 minutes. If you have ever been on Oasis of the Seas or similar ships, you will be very disappointed in the shows on Carnival Glory!!

Was not happy with this port! We got off the ship into what looked like a compound! There was zip line, small rental place, and a pool with swim up bar (pool was free for cruise quests) It looks like the different cruise lines put money together to make this big closed area full of stores! We were so far from everything! You had to take a shore excursion or walk a ways to get a cab.

I agree with Robale. The show was not canceled even thought they had a broken, unsafe stage. It took guts to do what they did to keep some sort of show going. All the rest of the shows were fine so they must have fixed the problem.

Funny. I posted earlier this was a fake review, and it got deleted. 🤔

Sorry you didn’t care for the Motown show. They had some technical difficulties and could have canceled the show in totality, but decided to go on with the show...so that’s why they were sitting on stools and occasionally stood up to dance. We enjoyed the music.

Sorry you had a bad experience, haven’t been on Glory for a long time. We love the Sunshine and Magic. Great shows on both.
