Review summary

The muster/safety drill seemed disorganized and took about 25 minutes. Due to rough waters with swells, we were not able to dock at Grand Cayman. Overall, this was one of the best cruises/ships we've been on.

Golden Restaurant was bone cold on night #2. Food & service we're quit good

4 out of 5
Tons to do, especially 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The talented young entertainers were wonderful!

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room steward was excellent. Dining was quite good overall. Varied from night-to-night as we opted for anytime dining.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Overall, impressive, and crew were continually seen cleaning assigned area.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Carnival has larger cabins than some other lines we've taken. The Glory appears to have undergone major renovations recently.

Ship tip

Enjoy the many amenities, planned programs, Amber Theater entertainment. Book shore excursions, and there are many from which to choose, well in advance since many of the popular ones book up 24+ hours in advance.

I don't mind the Muster drill. Just a small piece of my time to keep me safe if disaster occurs.

They will never get rid of the muster drill as it is mandatory maritime law and is no different than the safety briefing that they must give on airplanes before they take off. It’s not fun for passengers or staff but it would go a lot quicker if people could follow simple instructions and the cruise staff wasn’t having to hunt down people who think they can hide. The drill itself is nothing. The obnoxious part is standing there waiting for some jackass who thought he/she was above the rules!!

I can't wait until they get rid of muster drills. One day we'll be telling our grand kids about them like telling them about midnight buffets
